TOOMAS TOOMEPUU

Needing work during COVID lockdown, I got a job on a commercial trap fishing boat in a small town off the coast of Rhode Island. As an antiquated method of fishing - there aren’t many of these boats left. The nets go out every day but often require being taken out completely for cleaning and repair. Left to dry in the sun, I harvested the scraped off hardened seaweed and fish debris and have been using it to investigate furniture forms.
