SYDNI OLIVER
As an artist, it is important to leave my marks to be discovered. What motivates me is the collaboration between the clay and my surroundings. The sporadic yet inevitable acts of nature provide a precedence for my work; the ceaseless rippling of water, slow formation of rocks and trees, the continual deterioration and rebuilding of the city around me. My body of work focuses on the overlooked details of nature. Discovery of ourselves, using anatomy and biology as research tools. Bringing detail to the unknown parts of you.
