ELENA ESPOSITO
My work is based on experimentation and process, focusing heavily on craftsmanship. Using mainly kiln-forming techniques such as casting and slumping, I am interested in how light, color, texture, and form interact and manipulate materials, their functions, and their appearance. I enjoy exploring material limitations and finding ways to stretch or accommodate them. In my most recent work, I am replicating everyday objects in glass and ceramic. With strong attention to detail, I aim to draw people to the details usually missed in everyday life.
